iPhone 6S Worth your Time (and Money)?
Last week Apple unveiled the much anticipated iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The forthcoming release has been marked with rumor and speculation, and while the event confirmed much of what tech enthusiasts expected, there were some notable surprises. A Stronger, Less Bendable Body
The look of the iPhone 6s is nothing exciting. In fact, aside from the new rose gold color option, you wouldn't be able to tell by sight that the iPhone 6s is any different than its predecessor. The company instead focused on an internal makeover, with the big changes happening under the hood. Yet, there are a few subtle improvements to the iPhone body. The phone is covered with a new aerospace-grade aluminum backing, making it stronger and less prone to bending (no doubt a response to the bending controversy of the iPhone 6 release). There is also a sturdier glass face, so iPhone 6s users can worry a little less about the occasional tumble resulting in a cracked screen.
3D TouchI
f you are familiar with the Apple Watch's Force Touch, it has been re-branded as 3D Touch for the iPhone 6s, though it is ostensibly the same feature. The new screen can recognize different levels of touch pressure to a microscopic degree. Pressing the screen will prompt additional actions or make secondary menus appear. These shortcuts open the door to many possibilities and are sure to be a big hit. What's more, the 6s includes the Apple Taptic Engine which gives vibration feedback when interacted with, similar to what was introduced on the Apple Watch.
Camera Improvements
Photo quality takes a big jump with the latest iPhone—now with a stunning 12 megapixel camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing counterpart. Also included is a new concept called Live Photos, which records a brief video clip automatically with any standard photo shot, giving even still photos a sense of movement. For the first time, the new phone is capable of recording full 4K video, making it one of the only phones on the market able to do so.
A9 Processor
The new iPhone runs faster than ever. The 64-bit A9 processor is touted as running 70 percent faster for CPU tasks and performing up to 90 percent better for graphics than the A8. Apple promises that the A9 chip will make gaming and running apps a much richer experience.
How can you get your hands on the iPhone 6S?

Pre-orders started as of September 12, and in-store purchase will begin on September 25th. The phones start at a full retail price of around $650 for the 16GB 6s model, but if you're unwilling or unable to drop all that cash at once, most carriers offer monthly payment plans so more people can get their hands on one right away.
