Get to Know Our iPhone Repair Technicians: Andrea
Our iPhone repair technicians spend hours with your devices, but what do you really know about them?
This is the second post in a series where you will get to know our Apple Pie Repair Staff. Click here if you'd like to read our first post featuring one of our iPhone repair technicians, Lance. Today I am interviewing Andrea, another of our cellular/iPhone repair technicians. She is also one of our computer repair technicians as well as our manager! Read below to learn all about Andrea!
{01} How long have you worked for Apple Pie Repair?
I'll be here for five years in November.
{02} What do you like most about your job?
I like being able to use my "problem solving addiction" to help people revive their electronics.
{03} What is your favorite app?
Honestly, Pinterest. I'm on it daily looking for inspiration in home decor and style.
{04} What repair are you most proud of?
I used the knowledge that I learned here to take apart a fireplace to rescue a baby bird.
{05} If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
In-depth microsoldering so I can take some of the workload off my boss, Matt.
{06} What are some of your favorite songs to listen to while working on repairs?
I could literally listen to every Red Hot Chili Peppers song ever created and be perfectly content but on busier days I enjoy listening to a Spotify playlist I created called "Work Hard, Play Harder" which includes popular, upbeat songs such as Sandstorm and The Rockafeller Skank.
{07} What fictional character do you relate to most?
Leslie Knope with a pinch of the Whiskers R We ladies from Saturday Night Live.
{08} Have you ever been told you look like a celebrity? If so, who?
No, I'm kinda weird lookin'. Some people say I have the mannerisms of Jenna Marbles.
{09} What do you love most about Lafayette?
Hands down, the food. I really like the people too but food rules everything around me. For real.
{10} What are some of your favorite local lunch spots?
Good 2 Geaux, Dwight's...I love plate lunches. If it's a plate lunch, I'mma munch!
{11} What led you down the repair tech career path?
I was always interested in working on cars and met friends through that who happened to know the owners here. My experience in taking things apart helped me land the job.
{12} Where would your life be without electronics and technology?
I would probably be a hermit person, at one with the land.
{13} What question do you wish I would have asked you and what is the answer?
Do I (Andrea) like you (Chelsea) as a co-worker? Uh...yeah!
I know that last answer may sound like it was written sarcastically but that was actually genuine excitement about having me as a co-worker.
