For almost two decades, The Orchard has met a vital need for Lafayette's Apple users, providing a closer, more personal alternative to the tech giant's products and services. Although not an official Apple Store, it was the closest thing available in the area, given that the nearest Apple Store is located in Baton Rouge. With the closure of The Orchard on the horizon, many are wondering if this will renew efforts to bring an official Apple Store to Lafayette.
